A Morning Walk in Lalbagh, Bangalore.
Lalbagh is a 240-acre garden located in south Bangalore. The garden has over 1,000 species of flora & fauna. It holds a large lake which is house for a variety of birds. The garden also has different varieties of trees some over 100 years old .
Many entuastic photographers vist this place in the morning hours to capture the beauty of the nature & the animals living in it. I also happen to visit this place over the weekend to get a break from daily routine & capture some of these in my camera.

Guess this to be a species of the May flower. these bunch of flowers where on the tree & the early morning sunlight was giving a flower the pleasant glow.
I like taking snaps of the flowers. reason they will be there for a long time & i can try all the exposures & get the best of it :). where there are flowers bee's needs to be there. Bees on the flower make a beautiful combination how can i let go the these shots, guess i clicked 20-30 of these, but only the best one landed here on this blog.
Birds of Lalbagh
Mornings are the best time when you can see birds in lalbagh. God knows where they will go after 9-10. Guess they too have to go to workJ . Early morning one can see may different types of birds. The cranes,Ducks, the red headed hen, Hawks, parrots…..
Talking about Hawks, there are the Wight headed (Bald) & the brown headed species. Flight of these birds are beautiful. When you are with a camera u need to be fast, I found it very difficult to capture the right shots of them it takes lot of your time waiting for it to fly when its sitting on top of the tree. Best way to find these birds is these will be sitting on the top of the tree like the kings sitting on top of his thrown.
Parrots they are lot of these around here, you can got to the main entrance & one will find many of there. They will hide them self’s between the shades of the trees it very difficult to find it on the trees. Go by the sound you can find them. These are faster on flights than the hawks. I could not get a shot of them on flight (can be I am too slow for this).
Squirrels
These are shy by natures hence avoid peoples, as soon as they hear a noice ther are either on top of the tree or just run away from you. When they are eating some this its the best time for the shots. One needs to have a bit of patience with these animals. Ilike the way this animal moves around, I feel they do a lot of dancing J.
